The Matador Band also uses the website charmsoffice.com in conjunction with matadorband.org. The charms website gives access to forms, calendars, and the Seguin High School Band Handbook. To log in, follow these steps:

  • Type seguinhsb in the Parent/Student Log-In
  • Enter your Seguin High School ID Number into the Student Log-In

If you have pictures from the 2009 marching season, please forward them to Jo Ann Bogisch at tbogisch@satx.rr.com for 1 - 5 pictures or jab4401@yahoo.com for more than 5 pictures. There will be a several CDs of band pictures from thoughout the year available for purchase towards the end of the year. Thanks!

Matador News

All State Band

Congratulations to Morgan Richardson for her placement in the All State Band. Her first place rank at the All Area tryouts landed her a spot among the best in the state and an opportunity to perform for the TMEA this February. Good job!

All Region Band Auditions

Region Band Auditions were held on December 3rd at Bryon P Steele High School. Students earned spots in the All Region Orchestra, which performed on December 5th, 2009 at Churchhill High School, the All Area Band, which competes for spots in the All State Band on January 9th, the All Region Band, which performs on January 16th, and the All District Band. These students earned the following placements:
